Since his departure from TYR, Kevin St. James has been involved in a variety of musical and extreme sports past-times. Musically, he’s played drums in the Diana Lehr Project with Tiran Porter (Doobie Brothers) and guitarist Pat McCormick as well as in his current project, Shadowpool. In the mid 90’s Kevin made the switch to Bass in a series of bands including Body Bag, Bone Dance, (with Joel Valentine), and seminal Santa Cruz favorites, The Love Dogs. Expanding his musical capabilities, St. James also debuted his singing skills with Dickie Dangle and the Snot Rockets in mid 2005. He regularly rides motocross and has competed for several years in the Monterey Bay area. Kevin and his wife Carrie are expecting their first child.
